Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Wish Up is built for families — and set up by grown-ups. Accounts belong to parents and legal guardians who are 18 or older. Children cannot create an account.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Wish Up (“Wish Up”, "Page Pulse", “we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your access to and use of the Wish Up websites, mobile and web applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not create an account or use the Service. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a household, family, or other group, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to bind every member of that group to these Terms.

Adults only. No minor-created accounts.

Wish Up accounts are created and owned exclusively by parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where they live, if higher). Children cannot register, sign up, purchase, or open an account of any kind on Wish Up. There is no child sign-up path anywhere in the Service.

2. Eligibility, age requirement and adult account ownership

You may only create a Wish Up account if all of the following are true. These requirements are strict, and we enforce them.

  • You are at least 18 years old, or older if the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction is higher.
  • You are the parent or legal guardian of every child you add to your family, or you are otherwise legally authorised by that child's parent or legal guardian to manage the child's participation.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.
  • You will provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

Children do not have accounts

Children never register with Wish Up. A child participates only as a profile created, named, configured, and controlled by the adult account owner inside that adult's family. A child profile is not an independent account: it has no separate registration, no independent sign-up, no purchasing ability, no billing relationship with us, and no ability to change account-level settings, delete data, invite others, or contact us directly to obtain account information.

Any access a child has to the Service happens on a device the adult account owner provides, through a profile the adult creates, and within limits the adult sets. The adult account owner remains responsible at all times for supervising that access and for all activity that occurs under the account, including activity by a child profile.

If a minor creates an account anyway

If we learn that an account was created by someone under 18, or that a child attempted to register, we will suspend or delete that account and its associated data. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately through our support center and we will act promptly.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your parent credentials with a child or with anyone who is not an authorised adult in your household.

  • Use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Do not create an account using another person's identity or payment method without permission.
  • You may not transfer or sell your account to anyone else.

An adult account owner may invite another adult (for example a co-parent or guardian) to help manage the family. Any adult you invite must also meet the age and eligibility requirements above, and must accept these Terms. You are responsible for who you invite and for what they do within your family.

4. How Wish Up works

Wish Up helps families motivate children with goals rather than money. A parent sets up a family, adds child profiles, and helps each child choose a Wish — something they want to work toward. Children earn Stars for positive actions, habits, and milestones, and Stars move them toward the Wish they chose. Star Coach offers age-appropriate encouragement and suggestions inside the app.

No money, no allowance, no payouts to children

Stars are a motivational progress indicator only. Stars are not currency, not money, not a security, not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value. Stars cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, transferred between families, redeemed for cash, or withdrawn. Wish Up does not hold, transfer, or disburse funds to or on behalf of children, and does not facilitate payments between parents and children.

Whether and how a Wish is ultimately fulfilled is entirely up to the parent or guardian, offline and outside the Service. Wish Up does not sell, ship, source, or guarantee any Wish item, and is not a party to any promise a parent makes to a child.

Parents stay in control

The adult account owner approves Stars, sets goals, edits or removes child profiles, and can delete the family at any time. Nothing in the Service overrides a parent's decisions about their own child.

5. Star Coach and AI-assisted features

Some features, including Star Coach, use automated systems to generate suggestions, encouragement, and summaries. These outputs are generated by software and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your family's situation.

  • Star Coach is for motivation and encouragement only. It is not medical, psychological, educational, legal, or financial advice.
  • Star Coach does not diagnose, treat, or assess any child.
  • You should review AI-generated suggestions before acting on them, and you remain the decision-maker for your own child.
  • We may limit, change, or withdraw AI-assisted features at any time.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • Allow anyone under 18 to create an account, or misrepresent your age or guardianship status.
  • Add a child profile for a child you are not the parent or legal guardian of, without that child's parent or guardian's permission.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, violent, or otherwise harmful.
  • Use the Service to collect information about other people's children.
  • Attempt to access another family's data, probe or breach our security, or bypass any usage limit or access control.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from the Service except where that right cannot be lawfully restricted.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
  • Use automated tools to overload, disrupt, or degrade the Service.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access without notice where we believe a violation puts a child, another user, or the Service at risk.

7. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of the content you or your family add to the Service, including Wish names, notes, goal descriptions, and any images you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights needed to submit it. Please do not upload sensitive information about a child that is not needed to use the Service — for example medical records, government identifiers, or school records. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without obligation or compensation to you.

8. Plans, billing, trials and cancellation

Wish Up offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current features and prices are shown on our pricing page and may change; we will give reasonable notice of a price increase affecting your subscription before it takes effect.

  • Only the adult account owner may purchase a subscription. Children cannot make purchases, start a trial, or add payment details.
  • Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you selected (for example monthly or annually) until cancelled.
  • You authorise us and our payment processors to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current price plus any applicable taxes.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial-period refunds.
  • If a trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
  • If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may downgrade or suspend paid features until payment succeeds.

Purchases made through a mobile app store are also subject to that store's terms, and refunds for those purchases are handled by the store according to its policies.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, illustrations, characters, Star Coach persona, text, and the Wish Up name and logos, is owned by Wish Up or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your family's personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service relies on third-party providers for things like hosting, analytics, payments, email delivery, and AI processing, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your use of a linked service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, if your account is used in a way that risks harm to a child or to others, or if we discontinue the Service.

When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated family and child profile data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements. Deletion is permanent and Stars, Wishes, and history cannot be restored.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any particular parenting or behavioural outcome will result from using it.

Wish Up is a motivational tool for families. It is not a substitute for parental judgment or for professional advice from a physician, therapist, educator, or financial adviser.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wish Up and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wish Up from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms, Your Content, your misrepresentation of your age or guardianship status, or your use of the Service in violation of applicable law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or as the law requires. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Contact us

Questions about these Terms, your account, or a suspected under-18 registration can be sent through our support center at app.wishupkids.com/help. We aim to respond to every request promptly.
